In order to determine the simplified procedures mentioned in paragraph 1, the Data Protection Supervisor also takes into account proposals made by the more representative national consumer organisations and economic stakeholder groups, this also serves to ensure that methodologies are used which guarantee full awareness of the contractor or user. 2.

What are cookies?
Cookies are files that can be stored on the user’s computer (or other devices enabled to navigate the Internet, for example, smartphones or tablet) when the user visits a website.
